I dont know if you ever have caught yourself on the History Channel or Discovery Channel just watching some crazy shit about animals or aliens or other out of this world phenomenons.. and your just sitting there like fuck outta here..lol.. I think I go through that whole process on the daily, jsut tryna see the search of the unknown.. And that brings me to this next little post..
A group of British scientists and Marine Biologists came together to further debunk the hypothesis set forward by naturalist, Edward Forbes.. who stated that there could be no Life in water below 300 meters aka the Azoic level.
That particular theory has been proven incorrect many times over now because of the increase in technology but having searched those depths of the sea, has left scientist with mroe questions..
Living 1,000 of meters below sea level is the equivalent to being dropped in the middle of Sahara, in terms of the animal life and resources one would find..
But these animals that they are now finding down there are just trippy as shit.. Like shrimp with eyes on their back, or clams the size of dinner plates, all this crazy shit.. fish whose whole bodies are flourescent... Shit that is just compeltely out there..
This further research has led to The Census for Marine Life, a global network of researchers in more than 80 nations, to estimate that we have discovered about 230,000 species of marine animals, and that there could be a total of between 500,000and 10 million species in the sea.
"Trying to find animals in such a vast volume has been likened to towing a net across a field from a helicopter that's flying through cloud," says Prof Partridge. "What would you catch? The answer is the slow and the stupid."
