One of the biggest obstacles to overcome in life is surpassing the legacy of one's parent's; good or bad. Finn Andrew's, lead singer of The Veil's, is son to legendary keyboardist and producer, Barry Anderws- worked with everyone from XTC to David Bowie. Having a father with that much musical genius probably isn't the easiest challenge to surpass. Yet Finn and the rest of the band have been steady on their grind for the past five years, making music that has beeen compared to everything from 60's rock-pop tracks to Elton John type ballads. In their new album, "The House She Live's In", they seem to find the medium between their piano and pop sounds. Some notable tracks: "Larkspur" , "Svarecrow", and "Begin Again". Check this band's shit out and tell me what you think, and if you don't fuck wit it. too bad.
