Today is a bittersweet day. Just as T.I. is about ready to go to jail, sometime today actually, Michael Vick is now on his way out of federal prison and is "in-transit" to a halfway home. T.I., government name: Clifford Harris, has until May 19 to enter into prison, to serve the remainder of his year and one day sentencing, but its more like 295 days, but many say he will go in today. He got convicted of possession of firearms, after he was tried and found guilty in 1998 of possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell. We prolli won't see him till early winter next year.
Michael Vick has been taken out of federal prison in Kansas and will be placed in a halfway house, which is purgatory Igeuss, until he serves his in home sentencing from May 21 to July 19. Chances are we will see Vick play in the 09-10 season if the NFL signs off on it. Honestly God bless both these dudes, they are talented men, and role models to many. Hopefully they'll learn to duck the onetimers, or just not fuck up, whichever suits their lifestyle.
