As the story goes back in '91, designer Stephen Sprouse found himself with a Chateau Marmont hotel bill he couldn't pay. So since he couldn't pay with money, he decided to use his one gift and offered hotel owner Andre Balazs some sketches of Marmont-branded apparel. Without much being said about it, Balazs forgot about the sketches up until a few months ago. GO FIGURE? Just as Sprousse's work has reemerged on the scene, due to the illustrious dickeating of Marc Jacobs, Kanye and Louis V. Well Balazs is a man with money on his mind, cuz he plans on reproducing all 6 sketches as Chateau Marmount Clothing. I'll prolli fuck aroudn and cop some t's over summer if they out, ya kno!?
