The world of technology has grown increasingly amazing. but now i think its gettin ridiculous.. lol.. i was kicking it over here at the studio.. shoutout to the HIVE fam.. but yea.. i was posted here at the studio and the bossman Whitty was showing me this video on the future of space research.. and its like these scientists are building telescopes that can see into forever.. its soo intense.. all this is a prelude to the main story.. which has to do with technology that i think almost everyone has on deck.. this fucking iphone app that lets you draw pictures and shit.. well.. an artists by the name of Jorge COlombo, was posted up on times square for a good hour or so, jus doodling his surroundings into his iphone.. what came out was the new front page of the New Yorker... I would havata say her work is like a mix between Banksy and Acid lol.. But seriously just as affective and out there as Banksy, but her style and color are soo trippy.. she uses some kind of highlighter paint or some shit, its intense.. Air pollution has long been a fact of life in Spanish cities, but scientists now say it is not just smog that chokes people as they walk to work or stroll through the park. A new study has found the air in Madrid and Barcelona is also laced with at least five drugs — most prominently cocaine.

The Superior Council of Scientific Investigations, a government institute, said on its Web site Thursday that in addition to cocaine, they found trace amounts of amphetamines, opiates, cannabinoids and lysergic acid _a relative of LSD — in two air-quality control stations, one in each cities.

But it said there was no reason for alarm.

"Not even if we lived for a thousand years would we consume the equivalent of a dose of cocaine by breathing this air," scientist Miren Lopez de Alda said in a statement.

The scientific group stressed that "in no case should these levels be considered representative of the air in the two cities." It said the tests were done in areas where drugs were likely to be consumed.

Now I could onyl imagine if they sent some of this shit to Morhouse.. Evry nigga form President Franklin to the Janitors.. to Me.. lol.. would be able to give you a full analysis of whatever "test subject" we dealt with.. LMAO.. like how much of that shit goes a missing a year, that should be the next study they do..

Just simple everything.. black, grey, green, white, some brown, khaki's, red when you tryna add some extra.. but other than that I think its all about the minimal details and the quality of what you wearing rather than the excessiveness and flamboyancy(spell check, maybe a dictionary check too) of the item.. I was able to recently try soem shit on from a line that I htink fits all the pieces.. Maiden Noir's S/S '09 is definitely fitting into all my categories of fuck wit it'ness.. they are making pieces that will last you multiple season's, that have a function, and most improtantly look good and fit well..

Living 1,000 of meters below sea level is the equivalent to being dropped in the middle of Sahara, in terms of the animal life and resources one would find..

I find people constantly talking about the future, like tomorrow isnt coming.. I mean it might not be promised but the future isnt coming any slower.. Which is why I always try to look to see what new innovations the future willl hold for us, and what we can do take make the future better for not only ourselves but those who will follow us.. That is also why I'm so set on getting everybody on this green-tip, saving energy and doing their part to help the greater gooodd.... All this being said, there is some innovation going down in the AZ... the stomping grounds of my bro GrindTimeTommy.. The state is in the beginning stages of creating a Solar powered bullet-train that would possibly stretch from Chandler, Arizona all the way to Mexico City, of course having various stations in between.. The trip would take about 30 minutes, cause the train will be hitting speeds up to 220 mph...

Prettyyy fucking sick if you ask me.. The greehouse emissions on this will be extremely low if not none.. It will give the people a safe, and fast way to travel across the U.S. and possibly into Mexico(after the War on Drugs). I think these are the kind of innovations that oru future has in store for us, and everyone needs to be prepared to fuck wit it.

First of all Happy Mothers Day, to any Moms that look at this blog.. lol.. You must be cool as fuck.. I know being a mom isnt easy, cause my mom has me for a child, and that might be the hardest job in the world.. no lol's after that. so.I get nudged this morning by my sister asking me to write a card for my mom, I'm thinking FUCKK.. its 7.30 AM.. This is my first night of sleep this week cause of finals.. We just went out all night for my dads bday(thats a post coming later today).. So all in all, i DIDNT want to write it.. but then I thought of my beautiful mom's face seeing me write down a morsal of my appreciation down, and decided to write it.. my sister hands me the Card, and between her and my dad, they gave me a fucking footnote sized space at the bottom to write something to her... like ya'll know I like to write, when I actually do write.. so WTF! like they are tryna asss me out this year.. cause basically every year before this, I fucked them up on Mothers Day.. lol.. You have basically put up with the extremes of my nonsense over these past four years... Today, I had a phone interview with my potential new boss. I was getting excited about the prospects of landing a great job. I had nailed every question the man asked me and right after he told me he'll call me tomorrow if he wants me to come in I sweetly said, "Talk to you tomorrow, Love you" FML

Now before I get into the main story.. I would liek to say.. though what this dude has done.. is "the first".. I have clearly been doing any written assignment for school on my phone since the sidekick 2.. lol.. this is in class.. looking at my teacher, typing away on essay that was due at the beginning of class.. you just email that to the teacher and your BRUD.. Mr. Ferry can atest to catching me multiple times.. he checked the time of my emails.. HAHAH.. but looking bak at some of the pieces I wrote, I would like ot say I could have written a well thought out novel on my phone.. cake..
Well to the guy that actually did it. Brooklyn novelist Peter Brett wrote a complete novel on his "smartphone"..like nigga just say which phone you use.. newayss.. He would ride from the Fort Hamilton Parkway stop near his Kensington home to his job in Times Square... He did 800 words a day for 2 years.. you can do the math.. but it eventually came out with.. a 400-page novel, that centers on three characters' struggles in a world where killer demons roam the Earth at night, and is the first in a series of at least three books.
The book has sold 2,500 copies since Del Rey Books released it in the U.S. five weeks ago. It has hit best seller lists in Poland and England, where it was released late last year. After selling the book, Brett left his job - and the daily commutes - in October 2007 to pursue writing full time.

Recently some smart people in France were doing tests on Wolf Spiders(wtf!) to test how long they could breathe underwater till they drown to death... well for one species it took 24 hours and for the other two it took 28 and 32 hours.. thats amazing in itself but thats not where its serious.. this is where it gets Biblical.. the scientists then take the spiders out of the tank they were drownin them in... so they could dry off n be weighed... well after a couple minutes out drying the Spiders Resurrected! All of them.. Now that is fuckin insane..Apparently they put themselves into a coma, and revive themselves when they are no longer wet.. I am truly amazed.. and frightened. LMAO

This years Cannes film festival is looking to be like a dream team show... with a lot of established and respected directors: Ang Lee, Pedro Almodovar, Quentin Tarantino, and Lars von TrierK...But there are also some new faces trying to emerge in to Hollywood... like director Andrea Arnold ("Red Road") will arrive with her sophomore directorial outing, "Fish Tank,". There also is a strong Asian presence in the 52-film lineup, including new entries from Korea's Park Chan-wook and Bong Joon-ho... Overall the most anticipated film of the festival is "Inglorious Basterds" starring Brad Pitt and directed by Tarantino.. That might be a crazyy combination.. I'm looking forward to viewing that shit when it comes out domestically.

I dont know.. this kidna shit makes me mad cuz you are promised something, such as increased freedom and reliability in your governmentthus you expect a certain amount of change from the past ways that were restricting our freedoms. But instead all I've been hearing about are how our freedoms are being cut in to.. This isnt the first law that the current administration has tried to force upon us.. They recently asked to make all email and text messaging completely open to the government.. now if you cant see that as a further intrusion on our lives as Americans.. idunno wut to tell you.. dont getm e wrong Obama has made A LOT of steps in the right direction over these past few months.. but it doesnt give him the right to jus do some outlandish shit like this... soo keep your eyes and ears open, know whats going on around you.. at the end of the day the government is always a little crooked.

A soon-to-be-released study by the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) finds that United States can reduce consumer and business energy bills and dramatically cut global warming emissions at the same time. The two-year analysis, “Climate 2030: A National Blueprint for a Clean Energy Economy,” states that U.S. could meet an emissions-reduction cap 56% below 2005 levels by the year 2030, and in that year, consumers and businesses could save $465 billion.

“We have a historic opportunity to reinvent our economy, tackle global warming, and cut energy costs. Setting a limit on heat-trapping emissions would ensure that we make the necessary carbon emission reductions to help avoid the worst consequences of climate change. Combining a carbon cap with strong efficiency, renewable electricity, and transportation standards can deliver those emission cuts and save Americans a substantial amount of money.” - Kevin Knobloch, UCS President

An integrated set of climate, energy and transportation policies would be necessary to meet those goals, says the study, but by doing so, the country would be well on the way to reducing CO2 emissions to a level at least 80% below 2005 levels over the next 40 years.

“Efficiency and renewable energy technologies are ready today to power our economy with carbon-free electricity. Our blueprint shows that these clean energy sources can lead the way in cutting U.S. emissions, while lowering electricity bills and curbing our addiction to dirty, high-carbon coal power.” - Steve Clemmer, research director of UCS’s Clean Energy Program

Most of the net savings on energy bills over the next 20 years would be due to better efficiencies in buildings and industrial processes, a more efficient transportation system, and cleaner cars. The cost of a more efficient transportation system and cleaner cars in 2030 would cost about $35 billion, but drivers would save $120 billion in fuel costs that year.

The full savings won’t take 40 years to realize, as the authors say that by 2020 the U.S. could be meeting an emissions cap of 26% below 2005 levels and the savings for consumers and businesses could be $346 billion that year.

The analysis also found that a more cost-effective solution to climate change than nuclear power and coal plants with carbon capture and storage would be the use of more renewable electricity sources and increased efficiency.

The authors stress the importance of a comprehensive strategy, saying that implementing only part of the measures would drastically reduce the savings.

“We are encouraged that the proposed bill includes a cap-and-trade program, but the other initiatives in it are equally important. If you dropped the energy and transportation policies from our recommendations, for example, the cumulative savings for consumers and businesses over the next two decades would fall from $1.6 trillion to $600 billion.” - Rachel Cleetus, UCS climate economist

The full report will be available in May, but UCS President Kevin Knobloch is testifying about the findings before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce tomorrow.
